Protein Gingerbread Men

With Christmas just around the corner, this recipe has come just in time!

This recipe is super simple and upgrades your Christmas biscuit in to a protein-packed snack!

Makes 9

Ingredients:

  • 30g Gingerbread Whey Box Protein
  • 100g Oats
  • 30ml Coconut Oil
  • 45ml Egg White

Method:

  1. Pre heat oven to 180 °C
  2. Blend 100g oats to make oat flour
  3. Mix the dry ingredients (Whey and oats) in a bowl
  4. Melt coconut oil in the microwave
  5. Add wet ingredients (coconut oil and egg white) to the dry ingredients and mix
  6. Pick up the dough and make into a large ball
  7. Chill in the freezer for 5-10 minutes
  8. Place dough between two pieces of greaseproof paper and roll out
  9. Use your gingerbread man cookie cutter to make 9 gingerbread men Note: You will need to keep collecting the dough and rolling it out
  10. Optional addition of buttons for your little men, I used cacao nibs
  11. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown turning half way
